I think the court’s ruling is justified by the due process clause of the fourteenth amendment because the law that Texas had saying that couples of the same sex cannot engage in sexual intercourse does violate and individual’s rights. I also agree with the court’s ruling that the law was unconstitutional because it should not matter what a man/ woman does in their bed rooms as long as they do not bring it into the work place or any other public place and make it known by everyone. A person’s right to be gay or straight should never have been limited by the government in the first place. In my opinion it’s like taking away their right to say whatever they want to as long as it is not intended to hurt anyone else.
