In the article, “The More Factor,” by Lawrence Shames, the author describes the identity America holds. Shames claims that Americans have been influenced by the frontier belief “that America would keep on booming”. I believe this still idea holds true in the twenty-first century because of the way I live in society. Being part of a multicultural family, I always hear the words “America is where dreams come true”. For many years people worldwide have said these words that created a sincere feeling within them. The feeling of opportunity and freedom draws so many people to our country.
