Lawrence Sandoval was now a man without a job. Since moving to Baton Rouge, he has been through four jobs in a year. He is not the smartest person alive by any means, he dropped out of high school at fifteen and never bothered to get his GED until he was thirty. This made getting a job extremely hard to begin with, and when he got the job, he would never listen or try to get any guidance or he wouldn’t show up. Lawrence's goal in life when he was young was to party, now he’s just trying to pay the bills he collects what he feels is every day. He was not proud at all by the way his life turned out.
The newspaper was at his doorstep for the third day in a row without someone to pick it up. Lawrence was out of energy and didn’t feel like he could do anything more. His landlord finally made him collect all the papers. He searched through the wanted ads of all three and found an opportunity a monkey could do. The monkeys were actually apart of this job too. Not only was he not a good faker, he seemed to be the least respected of the circus staff. Odis was terrible at his job and had no interest in improving. Someone would think that after four years on the job that the routine would be automatic. The other three clown’s names were Yvette, Sophia and Caleb. Those three were the definition of sad it seemed. Odis at least had a personality that was outside of his work, these three just regretted their choices of job. Little did they know that their attitude affected everyone around them. The whole work environment was a wreck. Lawrence isn’t much of the chatty type, but he was determined to make his job somewhat enjoyable. His few first attempts to create humor were ignored and seemed like he was just talking to a group of dead people. The show was about to start so this would have to be put on
