I thought it was a costume party,” stammered Terence. Terence was a very absent minded, forgetful boy. People say he is so forgetful that it’s freaky.
“ No Terence, I said it was a pajama party,” Sally chuckled, laughing at his Batman costume.
“ Oh… okay I’ll be right back,” Terence sprinted his cape whooshing in the wind as the Dark Knight vanished down the street. Terence was always a good kid, but due to his memory that is extremely bad, his academics fell short. Since his academics fell short he really wasn’t allowed to go out and hang out with friends, or participate in sports, so he really wasn’t popular at school. This was the first party he was ever invited to a party, and his mother allowed him to go, so he was pretty excited.Terence got ready for the party… again

Terence arrived in a football jersey and jeans.
“I said pajama party!” Sally raised her voice.
“ Ohhh… I thought you said Alabama party, so I wore my Alabama Crimson Tide jersey,” Terence laughed and saw that Sally was not and stopped laughing. Sally grabbed Terence’s shirt and yanked him inside.
It was Monday morning and Mondays are Terence’s least favorite, because it’s the start of the week and he can forget everything in school.
“ Hello class open your books to page seventy four and begin the warm up,” Mrs. Rale hollered to the class and everyone began to write except Terence. Terrence hesitated and ever so slowly raised his hand.
“Yes Terrence,” Mrs. Rale batted her eyebrows toward him.
“I uhh forgot my textbook,” Terrence stuttered
Mrs. Rale had a crooked smile on her face. “Anything else?” she questioned.
Terrence looked her in the eyes, he broke into a cold sweat. “ My folder, notebook,pencil, and the novel we are reading,” He counted off the objects he forgot on his fingers. He looked up and then down at his feet, because he was ashamed, he also didn’t like the look that Mrs. Rale was giving
