In the world of Law Enforcement, delegation is critical n the success of getting task done especially during critical incidents. It also has its place in day to day activities because it's difficult for one person to complete every task and do so in a complete, thorough, and timely manner. I can say that took me a considerable amount of time to get where I am when it comes to delegation. The challenges I faced were trusting the person enough to give them a task and believe it would be completed in the manner I would do it in. Often, you're working with someone new and haven't had the time to develop a level of trust or they become familiar with how you like things done.
