Law Enforcement Book Report

I designed the books of 10 to keep things simple and attainable while still providing vast knowledge to the reader. Primarily these books are intended to enhance the knowledge, skills and abilities of Law Enforcement (L.E.) and Military members. Whether its corrections, security, protection, patrol, investigations or another branch of L.E. our overall mission is still relative, “Protect the innocent”. If you have not heard me say it before, it’s important that this becomes your business. No, this task cannot be conducted by L.E. itself, it relies heavily on Courts, Juries, Prosecutors, Law Makers, Community Leaders, Parole and Probation, Business Owners, Child services, Social Services and many other departments. The more these entities work together, the more of a quality community you find yourself in. It’s my hope that the books of 10 provide you “a way” to do some of …show more content…
Covering these areas should expose you to valuable information I learned through trial and error over the years. Sharing experiences that have affected myself both directly and indirectly will act as a tool Leaders can utilize as a reference. Use this information to bypass some trials and tribulations you’re otherwise bound to endure while providing your team with a path less flawed. Although this is written for a predominantly law enforcement audience it should be beneficial to all Leaders. Over the past 27 years as I have worked in a variety of management capacities I’ve had over 100 supervisors. Having this type of experience has been priceless as it has taught me thousands of lessons, both what to do and what not to do. I will share and expand on a few of these throughout this book. I am hopeful you will find some useful information you can utilize in the future. If something is repeated I apologize now for it but, pay attention it could mean it’s important so take note of what’s being
