It is my great honor and pleasure to welcome you to the Copeland Insurance Group Law Enforcement Appreciation Dinner. My years of experience as a prosecutor, felony judge, and Chief Justice, left me with magnified gratitude and respect for our officers who put their lives on the line every day for our peace and security. So to all of our officers in the audience tonight, thank you from the bottom of my heart. For all of us, thank you to the officers in attendance tonight for their unfettered courage when it comes to fighting the the element of our communities bent mayhem. Just your presence removes temptation from those who might be tempted to stray from the straight and narrow. When something does go awry, the first thing people do is call 911. Those very people in distress know that our nation’s law enforcement will have their back in dire emergencies. Law enforcement is quintessential to community safety and the very backbone of our law and order nation.
