We had numerous people talk to us about their experiences of studying law at degree level, confirming my decision to want to study law at a university as I am hardworking and often do extra independent study to go alongside with my A levels. This is why I have done a MOOC's with Future Learn. The Corporate Lawyers course was done in conjunction with a university and taught me about lawyers and the stigma around lawyers in today's society. This was relevant to me as I want to help change the stereotype of the legal world. I enjoyed learning about constitutional law as it’s so relevant in today’s society and was a topic I studied as part of my AS politics. After talking to my tutors about their experiences with doing law as a degree, it made me realise how suited I am to it as I enjoy reading and learning independently and have such a keen interest in the subject itself. During this trip, we visited a firm called Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer which gave me an insight into corporate law firms who deal with high-profile clients.
