On, Lava Beds National Monument (U.S. National Park Service), there are many links to learn more about the place. There's even a link on safety! There are many dangerous things here, but, I ensure you as long as we are careful and listen to our guide we will be safe. Tails range from 0.5 miles to over 8 miles in length, and go through various habitats found within Lava Beds, as it says on the website. On the trails we are more likely to see wildflowers, mammals, reptiles, and much more. Squirrels, mule deer, and kangaroo rats are the most commonly encountered mammal in the monument. However, there are many other species often found during the course of a visit. They have all adapted to living in this dry environment, and many take advantage of the shelter provided by the numerous lava tube caves.
With all this information, I hope you, Mr. Davis, will let us go. For, Lava Beds will be a great learning experience. Us eighth graders will be thrilled to learn more about this place. It'll be a great experience for the teachers as well, for, they too can learn something new. At least think about it, for, this is a lot of information to take in about Lava
