Lauren and Destiny were sitting in Destiny’s bedroom. Lauren and Destiny have been friends for so long. They tell each other everything. Although they just went through a rough patch. Lauren and Destiny just broke up from a six month relationship. Lauren still had tons of emotions left for Destiny, but Destiny just told Lauren that she wanted to be with someone else. The girl that Destiny wanted to be with was named Rain. She was beautiful and perfect. Lauren was always jealous of Rain, she had gorgeous ombre hair, the way it slowly faded from a dark brown to a light brown. Her beautiful green eyes, her make-up was always perfect. Lauren sat on her bed until it was time to go to the party. Lauren wasn’t gonna let what happened today ruin her weekend. Lauren got to the party and automatically didn’t know anyone there. She sat on the couch and a girl named Kristi sat with her and asked her why she was sitting alone. When Lauren explained to her that she didn’t know anyone Kristi told Lauren to come with her she had someone for her to meet. Lauren and Kristi walked down a long hallway and it was dark and kinda freaked Lauren out. Kristi had gotten a head of Lauren so she tried to run up and catch up with her and of course some one in a scream mask pops out and scares Lauren turns the corner. When she saw Kristi and finally caught up with her, Kristi was standing next to a guy that logan didn’t know.
“Lauren this is John, He’s my best friend” Kristi said sarcastically.
“She wishes she had me as a best friend like me” John said lightly shoving Kristi.
“Whatever,” said Kristi half way laughing. “This is Lauren I think yall will get along great!” Kristi said and walked away slowly.
“Well this is great” Lauren mumbled under her breath.
“What was that?” Said John curiously.
“Oh nothing” Said Lauren, “Can we go sit down? My feet really hurt in these heels”

Lauren kept dazing into his eyes but she always caught herself and looked away. She started to really like this boy. Lauren and John switched numbers and they were constantly texting each other. John would flirt with Lauren and of course Lauren is flirting back with him. Everything was going great until Lauren realized prom was coming up and Destiny was still going to ask Rain, that still angered Lauren. She wanted to Destiny how she felt but, it useless. Monday morning came and Lauren approached Destiny and told her that she didn’t talk to any of the girls that Destiny didn’t like at the party and swore that nothing really happened but talking to a friend. Lauren also took the time to tell Destiny that she met John and things were hitting off nicely. Destiny just smiled and nodded like she was happy for Lauren that things were finally turning around for her but at the same time like she was no longer happy. Destiny was even questioning going to prom anymore. Lauren spent hours trying to ask Destiny what was wrong but, Lauren's mean mom showed up and told her she had to be home tonight so she had to quickly pack her stuff to leave. Destiny didn’t have her phone so it's not like she could text her she had to wait to the next day to talk to her. When Lauren saw Destiny the next day Destiny acted like it never even happened. She was all happy and giggly and full of spirit but something seemed really
