During the investigation, we’ve uncovered somewhat of a different story. It appears CCC payroll Laura Rollins spoke to Mr. Martin on Friday regarding his loads/ pay. Laura says, she’s explain to him, he have had two advance (s) over the course of a two week span totaling $580.00, he was home for a week (by choice), which caused him to have a lessor paycheck then normal.

In addition to all of that, it appears all of his loads where turned in as far as she knows, if something is missing payroll wouldn’t know since the load sheet is sent into payroll for payment of all loads.

Each court case detailed by Krakauer, in my opinion, can be seen as intergroup conflict in which the larger community in-group such as government officials such as Kirsten Pabst, and Grizzly fans try to legitimize their claims against the “out group” of sexual assault victims and their victim advocates in order to threaten the out group’s validity and distinctiveness (Tajfel & Turner 1985). One instance where this group-divide is present both before and after the proceedings is in the case of Kelsey Belnap. After agreeing to hang out with her friend Betsey Fremont, Belnap is immediately put in an awkward situation where she is at a party of people she doesn’t know, and doesn’t feel comfortable with. Even though she was apprehensive, Belnap…

On September 23rd, 2011, Teresa Lewis, a citizen of Danville, Virginia, was pronounced dead by lethal-injection at approximately 9:13 p.m. (Crawford 74). Being that 46 executions took place in 2010, Teresa Lewis’s case would seem indifferentiable to the others; however, evaluations of Lewis’s mental state incited controversy based on the morality of her case (“The Death Penalty…”). The controversy erupted after Lewis’s defense lawyer filed a position for clemency briefly after disclosing that she had an I.Q. of 72, providing the justification that Lewis “did not possess the intelligence to have planned for the killings” (“US woman Teresa…”). Much to the dismay of her defense lawyers, family, and advocates, Teresa Lewis still underwent lethal injection for conspiring to murder her husband and stepson.…
