Review the behavioral indicators in Tables 7.2 and 7.5 as well as the examples in nonexamples in Tables 7.3 and 7.6. What are some other behavior indicators? What are some other examples or nonexamples?
Example:
When the parent walks into the office the teacher stands up and walks over to greet her. The teacher smiles and states, “Taking for taking the time to have this meeting” The parent states, “I wanted to share my observations regarding (J.T’) with you in person. As the teacher is informing her about the recent observations the parent interjects the teacher. The parent states, “This is typical behavior for a little boy.” The teacher responds by stating, “I hear that you think this is typical behavior for a five year old boy.”
