The sound of an alarm clock in the early morning can be a dreadful sound for many teenagers to hear. Many teenagers hit the snooze button in hopes of just a couple more minutes to sleep in. A typical weekday can be full of exhaustion and lack of motivation from school. The idea of later start times for school has been an issue that could be subjected to change in the near future. If school times started later in the morning, it would not only benefit the student’s health and wellness, school success rates could also improve significantly, yet many schools lack to push back start times.
Many middle and high school students are not receiving the appropriate amount of sleep recommended due to early school times. As a teenage body goes through
