One of the cases that it would be okay, would be when the mother’s life is in danger. The other case that it would be okay, is when the mother was rapped by a person and they dont want to have that constant reminder, but “some women are raped but still choose to keep the baby instead of getting an abortion, even though the circumstance of becoming pregnant wasn't there choice but killing the baby is still ethically wrong to them.” One of the very few reasons that late-term abortions should be allowed, is because the mom’s physical health may be in question. More than a million women every year give birth. It’s quite legal, and generally a cause

Late-Term Abortion A Colorado woman accused of cutting open the belly of a pregnant woman, who was responding to a Craigslist ad, and removing the unborn child to show her family she was expecting a baby herself, is not being charged with murder. Under Colorado law, the perpetrator can only face such murder charges if the baby was alive outside the womb. Abortion opponents in Colorado have unsuccessfully pressed actions to pronounce a fetus as a human being, which would thus enable homicide charges to be filed for their bereavements. (Lacey-Bourdeaux) In simple terms, and granted current abortion laws, an abortion was performed outside of a clinic.…

If late-term abortion was illegal thousands of innocent children's lives would be saved every day, many mothers would not be able to risk getting severe infections or possibly die, and irresponsible mothers would no longer be able to use abortion as a form of birth control rather than using proper contraceptives to prevent pregnancy. All mothers and fathers should stand against late-term abortion and push politicians to pass laws that would make late-term abortion illegal. If this happens, innocent children will be able to live happy, healthy, and successful…

Terminating a pregnancy is cruel at any stage of development, and a baby's life deserves protection. A whopping 92% of abortions in America were done on healthy women to end the lives of healthy children ("The Best Pro-Life Arguments"). Many women don’t have a legitimate reason for having an abortion. In the end, families don’t have to keep the baby if they don’t want to. They could put the baby up for adoption.…

There has been a long existing debate of “Pro-Life” versus “Pro-Choice” about whether or not women should be able to abort a child. Many people being Pro-Choice will use the argument that the fetus isn 't a living person, and rather that it is the woman’s body; therefore the woman’s choice. There are other options women have such as adoption: waiting until the baby is born and providing the child a well-suited family to properly care for them. I believe any way you can avoid aborting a child is better than abortion because you give the child a chance for life. An unborn child in the womb contains all of the characteristics for it to be considered living, proving abortion is morally and scientifically wrong.…

Many have different reason to why they do, but either way it is wrong and it should not be legal. Throughout the years, the abortion rate has gone up severely. All of the abortions that happen can not just be from health issues or rape. A study shows that many abortions recently are just because the mother is not ready for a baby. “In 2010, more than half of all pregnancies were unintended in 28 states; in the remainder of the states, a minimum of 36% of pregnancies were unintended” (Wind, 1).…

Abortion may lead to future medical problems for the mother. They must take that into consideration when they are thinking about doing the procedure. You may not be able to have children in the future and you can have blood clots in the uterus. It causes extreme cramps and is usually discarded by repeated suction curettage. You can have an incomplete abortion which means the fetal parts or other products of the pregnancy may have not been completely removed for the uterus.…

When I was younger, I thought of abortion as the worst thing that could ever happen. Why would anyone want to kill a baby? But not many women want to kill their own child. According to Frederica Mathewes-Green, “No woman wants an abortion as she wants an ice cream cone or a Porsche. She wants an abortion as an animal caught in a trap wants to gnaw off its own leg” (Mathewes-Green).…

One health risk is psychological damage to mothers who had abortions. Chittom and Newton (2016) reported that “sadness, depression, guilt, anxiety, numbness, and shame are just a few of the psychological effects common to women who had abortions.” According to “Should Abortion be Legal” (2016), a study done by BMC Magazine reported that women who had abortions often have higher anxiety levels and are 154% more likely to commit suicide than other women. The Journal of Social and Clinical Psychology reported a study on the effects on men whose partners had abortions and it found that 51.6% had regrets, 45.2% felt sadness, and 25.8% experienced depression (“Should Abortion be Legal,” 2016). Chittom and Newton (2016) note that Pro-Life activists often explain the long term emotional, spiritual, psychological, and physical trauma after the procedure as post-abortion syndrome, which is not officially recognized by the medical world.…
