This means that Chris was always listening when the teacher was talking. Also, he was on task when doing work for the class he was in whether it task done in class like writing on whiteboard in science or drawing a face in Art class, he always on task. This leads to the idea of staying on task as well. When he was faced with the distractions during class time he could remain focus at all time. Those are just a few of the reactions that Chris had during the day a few more will be present in my next element of this paper the interview part.
Part Three To begin the first question, I asked Chris was tell me about a school experience that affected him the most a student. He told me about how when he first moved here it was hard making friends at first because he didn’t understand English or speak English. After two years, he moved to his current high school where not only was easier to make friends he regained old friends from the country he used to live in. I think about how scary it would be in Chris shoes. The next question I asked was did he have any plans after high school. His answer was one that shocked me a little therefore I know how harder it is to graduate from an urban setting. I thought that the student wouldn’t like me following them around and wouldn’t want to answer my questions or would give me only one word answer. This idea was false not only did the student not treat like this is circle of friends made me feel welcomed. They all seemed to like me following them around. Also, it seemed to me that Chris overall is likeable kind of guy who can be friends with anyone. Chris seems to me to be well educated student regardless the situation he was in two years ago. I feel this allowed him to overall be kind person. To end this paper my interaction with a city kid in a city school and mid-sized city schools this allowed me to realize that not all students and school for that matter are going to be the same.
