Las Vegas Shooting Research Paper

Does anybody know about the Las Vegas Shooting? For the ones who don’t know, a man had killed about 58 people, which included 36 women and 22 men. Even though the Las Vegas shooting was devastating, I don’t agree on banning guns. Fun fact, more people die from car accidents or being killed with knives than being killed by a gun. But why do i not agree on banning guns, I have about three reasons why.

We have had close relationships with guns as we had with violence. This started with the tough and dangerous lives of early settlers and started slavery and harsh treatment of natives. Why? Well for 1, we have seen tons of movies where criminals with guns being chased by sheriffs and their friends/posse. Now for 2, the west had simply moved to urban areas where criminals blossomed and gangs had their wars. Guns have never left america, we use them to chase off criminals, which is where we delve to another reason why guns shouldn't be banned.

The moral of the story was that we, likewise, should not let ourselves be fooled that we are safe without weapons. If guns were banned, the obeyers will turn them in, while the outlaws will keep the outlawed to make chaos on the world. We may think that weapons are good for many reasons, there will be someone who always thinks

There is an epidemic in the world, and mainly in America of attacks on schools across the world. These attacks are seemingly random outbursts of rage by students or other mentally unstable individuals and are a tragedy that has only been becoming more prevalent in recent years. The fact is that these tragedies are so awful to witness that most people close their eyes on the matter entirely. If we do look back on our dark history we will see what we need to. Many things in our world anger me, but when I hear that our new President has just made it legal for mentally ill Americans to purchase guns, I go ballistic. The second amendment states that we are given the right to bear arms legally, but I think that our founding fathers did not mean that someone mentally ill is allowed to purchase firearms. Events occur all around the world that give evidence as to why firearms should not even be allowed to be purchased even by the average human being. The Newtown shooting occurred at Sandy Hook elementary school in 2012 and it is a day we will never forget.…

The general argument made by author Paul Waldman in work “The Case For Banning Guns”, is that guns are pretty much the reason for all the murders, suicides, and mass shootings. And that if guns were banned our society would be better off. More specifically, Waldman argues that he believes guns should be banned. He states that he understands the many reasons gun owners have for not wanting the weapons to be banned. These reasons are valid such as uses for self defense, hunting, or the weapon is just important to the family and has been passed down through generations.…

In America, there is a growing perception that guns are: they are harmful, they kill, and they commit crimes, and so most guns should be banned. But, how can a gun kill or commit crimes; it is not a living thing, it is a tool. With the use of guns, America has grown to be a strong and independent country throughout history. The push to ban guns will only keep guns away from law abiding citizens since criminals, by nature, do not follow laws and respect the gun free zones. The banning of guns in America should end.…

On an average day in the United States 93 americans are killed by gun violence. There are also 1000’s of cases that involve a child being injured or killed by a stray bullet every year. Does this mean that guns are dangerous or does it mean we are using guns for the wrong intention? There are many reasons people use guns but like everything else some people use it for good and some for evil. After obtaining guns, children and adults collect them and proceed to improve their accuracy in shooting, but getting rid of them would make the world a dangerous place. Many people who believe that guns are the leading cause of death in the United States, are incorrect. A gun is not a person, it has no feelings nor can it move on its own it cannot be personified nor be blamed for any of the actions. A gun must be wielded by a person and that person is the one responsible for pulling the trigger. If guns were banned and somehow a criminal couldn’t get his hand on one illegally, they can still kill.…

In recent years, a lot of debate had been going on about the laws pertaining to firearms. Unfortunately, with all of the mass shootings and killings being reported by the media, guns are given a bad reputation. Sadly, many people believe that they should be illegal because they are dangerous and can kill people, but what these people don’t realize is making them illegal will do a lot more harm than good. Guns have created a balance in society and if we were to take them away it could cause a lot of chaos which would result in more crime and more casualties. People deserve the right to bear arms because with proper training one could possibly save his/her life and also protect others.…
