Journalist: How does this shop appeal to Las Vegas?
Joey: Our city is based on gambling. This is a real business, a business based around something real. When people come here and spend some of their money they get something in return. You get affordable music and great conversation. I believe Record City gives Las Vegas character.

The convening judge, Justice Miller, used the aformenetioned guidelines to authorized the interception of gambling related communications. Justice Miller approved the warrant application that identified specific items such as the identities of co-conspirators; locations where gambling occurs and where gambling proceeds and gambling records are safeguarded; methods by which proceeds are kept and disbursed to the principals of the enterprise. My belief is that the operation was conducted in an ethical manner considering how the Mafia had become a threat to society, the federal government were bound to combat their criminal enterprise. In any high school in Nevada, UNLV is seen as the “University of Never Leaving Vegas” and it is a generally accepted rule that any student with an inkling of motivation and halfway decent grades should go out of state, despite how much student debt they may end up with. After all, about 87% of UNLV’s student body is from Nevada and only around 39% of these students end up graduating within six years, and there are plenty of opportunities to make a living working on the Strip or in a casino for all those students who couldn’t quite “make it”. Meanwhile there is only a meager 13-14% of students who come to UNLV from out-of-state who have undoubtedly acknowledged all the opportunities UNLV can provide, from its status as a “High Research” University…

Kloe, I am so glad that you picked this episode to watch. I can not believe that people would want to gamble on youth sports. When you talked about what you would do if you were in that situation it made me wonder what I would do myself. I would like to think I would stand and say something to the police or someone of higher authority, but like you also pointed out, if the people gambling are carrying a weapon this makes the task more daunting. I agree that this is a huge ethical issue because what does gambling on sports teach the youth of America.…

Las Vegas, Nevada—the city known for its flamboyant nightlife and never-ending party—instills a fictional reputation for those living outside of the city. Tourists often see the beauty and elegance proudly marketed by Las Vegas; the city does what it does best—put on a show. The city does nothing more than put a façade to hide the failure to serve our community. I chose to write about Las Vegas because the misconceptions of my hometown affect how people think of me when I introduce myself. Upon saying I was raised in Las Vegas, the immediate response is, “Oh, I didn’t know people actually lived in Las Vegas.…

They shouldn’t be arrested just because an officer finds it unethical it’s not their job to decide that matter. A law can help diminish these issues arising.…

In the previous years, there have been lottery winners who spend their money wisely, and others who have spent it unthinkingly. Some lottery winners usually spend their money making good deeds for people who are not lucky enough. In the other hand, there have been several lucky individuals who waste it in foolish things. My grandmother had a friend who won the lottery about thirty years ago, she pushed her luck and lost everything. If I were to win the lottery I would donate to charity, build a business, and with anything that is left I would travel.…
