In order to find out more I had to start looking for a family to interview and get real facts from people with experience in this situation. I found several families but only one interested me the most. This family was certainly different from the others. From what I saw all the members tried to help the cocaine addict and wished the best for him. The family was led by a single mother whose name is Sophia, two sisters named Camille and Hade and the cocaine addicts name is Brian. I surely could see the struggle of this single mother throughout her hazel eyes, the pain both sisters had to live day to day just hoping that their brother would be able to quite his drug abuse. She said that he started to use cocaine when he was 15 and she noticed a month before he turned 16. Camille and Hade commented, “We were very scared and we did not know if to fear our own brother or fear for his life.” Camille and Hade said that everything happened to quickly, and that he was a role model to them. They felt very disappointed and confused, they could not believe their brother was so selfish and decided to affect his family that way. For a moment Hade thought that her family was going to be torn apart, and that nothing was going to be the same, “I thought I had lost my brother and my family was fading through my hands” said Hade.
