Making real friend’s over the internet is impossible because you never know who the person is, you never know what there trying to do, and the lack of a true friendship. From you meeting someone online you don’t know them like that. Since you guys only meet online. Meaning you don’t know them personally, they can be any one in this world and you wouldn’t know. Stated in the text on page 27 “If you’re dealing with someone who is not forthcoming about their identity, you don’t know there motive for doing so”. Meaning this person could be hiding something very important from you. Something like there past life. In other words, you may not know what there trying to do to you. Think about it, why would a person want to make friends with people online that they don’t know personally??? What would be the reasoning? Stated in the text on page 26 “You think you know someone, but you don’t”. Meaning you thinking that person you meet online is your friend so they won’t hurt you but that’s what they do. It’s not a true friendship if it’s over the internet. True friends see each other, go out with each other, and just hang out. You can’t do that with someone over the internet that you barley know. ‘‘Friends who exist only on a computer screen do not provide the companionship necessary to sustain friendship’’ quoted from the text on page 27. That quote means an online friend doesn’t have the same connection with you like a real friend does. In conclusion, you cannot make real friends over the internet. Due to you not knowing who they are, you don’t know what there trying to do, and there a lack of a true friendship. Stated on the other side of the argument you can make real friends online. You can build a bond like real friends do. But knowing all that you know now, would you want
