Mr. Roberts stated that when he closed his business around 1200 hours on 09/19/2015 he returned on 09/19/2015 at approximately 0900 hours, and he noticed it was unusually hot inside the building so he went outside to checked on the AC unit and he noticed his Standard R-410A AC unit was stolen from behind the business. At approximately 0546 hours, the same vehicle in question drove back in front of the Cupboard with the trunk of the vehicle now open with what looks like the AC unit from Stephenson’s Auto Service hanging out the back. I than observed a black male exited the vehicle and began to pick up used cigarette butts off the ground before retuning to his vehicle.
CCBI was dispatched and Agent Boyd (ID-102) responded. Agent Boyd took photographs and processed the business for latent fingerprints. Agent Boyd stated that she was unable to lift any latent fingerprints.
At approximately 1400 hours, I spoke with the business owner of The Cupboard, Ms. Kerrie Costa who stated that she will have a copy of the surveillance video on 09/22/2015.
The suspect is describe as a black male, between the ages 30 – 40 years old, around 511-600 ft in height, approximately 200-220 pounds (muscular build), last seen wearing a sunglasses, a grey T-Shirt, Blue Jeans and Brown Boots.
