It can be used in different meaningful ways. There is a lot of power in that can portray how someone is feeling and with that comes exploring the truth about humanity. The way in which performance is analyzing humanity and human truth is by making us look at situation and think about what is happening. It allows us to imagine what we could become and to have awareness of ourselves and the changes we need to make. For example, an important human truth in a short story we read called Manifesta to Young Women is to be who you want to be, don't let anyone tell you anything.
