La Plata High School Groups There are many different groups of friends at La Plata High School. There are the gamers, the artsy ones, the fake people, the athletic people, and the promiscuous group. Some of the main groups are the athletic group and the artsy group. Some of the characteristics of the athletic group are; friendly, sporty, sometimes popular, funny, and sometimes cocky, pushy, and controlling. Some characteristics of the artsy group are; free-spirited, shy, sometimes outcast, and kind. I think that I fit into both of these groups in different ways. People get put into these groups because our natural reaction when we see someone is to judge what we think they're like, by the way they dress or look, and classify them into groups. They are friendly, funny, sporty, and sometimes popular. They can be smelly sometimes, but everyone is smelly at some point. Sometimes they can be cocky, pushy, and controlling, but they normally don’t mean to be that way, because no one is perfect. Most people think that all athletes are rude and popular because of what we see in movies, but most of the time athletes are really nice and friendly, we just don’t see it, because we are to judgy to even find out what they’re actually like.
