I especially found Martha job interesting because she works in a school setting and that’s where I want to work. I really enjoyed interviewing these two women because when I finish college I want to work with children and both Martha and Cecilia work with children in different ways.…

The Outside Sales positions that I read on Monster.com were very interesting and had differences that I was not expecting. Before this assignment, I often thought sales positions were alike. Thus, my assumption was if you had a silver tongue the salesperson can sell an individual the moon. The three listings were Outside Sales Rep, Territory Manager, and Route Sales Manager. The position all required excellent communication skills along with excellent organization skills which are in line with what I read in the textbook.…

In the textbook, on page 201, it says, "Today in the sciences, books are usually either texts or retrospective upon one aspect or another of the scientific life. " I believe that all textbooks, articles, and anything else that scientists published are quite complicated to assume that they are readable which means they can sound good while you read them but afterwards, they are not. I, however, think that it is impossible to disagree with something you just read because it sounds good and it seem like they know what they are talking about. The sources that I found has a lot of information about my topic but when it comes to Frazier's interview, I don't think that it will give me that evidence that I need anymore because he doesn't know a lot…

Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, Maria Avina relocated with her family to Amarillo, Texas from our neighboring country. Maria, my 20 year old roommate, sat across from me dutifully working on her Calculus 3 homework, jokingly second guessing her choice of being a Mechanical Engineering major. Although she is a permanent resident of the United States, Maria hold strong ties with her mother country, keeping up with news regarding the country and its people. More recently, immigration and healthcare has been a huge topic of discussion in our household, so, understandably, I could not think of another person better to conduct this interview with.
