The Land of Abundance-Chengdu
Chengdu is the capital city of Sichuan Province and it is center of science and technology, commerce in China's southwestern region. Chengdu city is located in the western of Sichuan Basin and the central of Chengdu Plains. It is common knowledge that Chengdu is rich in products and the agriculture in Chengdu has been well developed. As early as 3500 BC to 2000 BC, there was the first group of people in this land and the city was also known as "become the capital ".Chengdu is usually noted as the “Land of Abundance” since ancient times. “Chengdu, a city once you come, you will never want to leave” is a famous sentence which can be seen on the advertisement around us. The tourism festival hold at the Binhe Forest Park. During the Tourism Festival, visitors can watch national art troupes perform dance performances, acrobatics and see some international sculpture exhibitions and enjoy the delicacy Sichuan food and funny animal shows.
The second one is the Chengdu cultural tourism festival and it holds during the whole late April. The bamboo culture festival will be held in the Wangjiang park. During this period, tourists can not only see the southern forest, they can also enjoy the large-scale theatrical performances, collection exhibition, photography contest, folk artists live performance, tea ceremony and other activities.
Last but not least, the Qingchengshan Mountain Taoist Culture Festival is also a famous festival in Chengdu city.
