Hello Nosleep family. I'm writing to you tonight because I've experienced something grim in the last few days. This is the first time I've had access to anything connected to the internet since shortly after the "incident" began. I've been running on about four hours of fearful "rest" since about five days ago, so please forgive me if my recalling is scattered.
I live in a small city of about 15,000 people. There's trees pretty much everywhere, bumpy roads, terrible drivers. I was enjoying the evening at a friend's house, but he went to bed around midnight. One of the police units hit his brakes hard and turned around. Great, I'm doing 78 in a 45 with a void-land creature chasing me on foot and this guy wants to write me a ticket! I think I'll keep going and maybe he'll notice the hellwrangler next to me.
This cop is pushing it. He's in the other lane and I figured he was gonna P.I.T. me off the road and arrest me for evasion or something crazy. Look, my personality type along with Reddit makes me hop into this odd fantasyland sometimes. That's beside the point.
Thud. I was steadily watching the scene behind me take place. The cop rammed right into ol' Green Eyed Hellwrangler back there. He flopped under the truck, then the officer advanced up to me and motioned for me to roll down my window. He screamed, "This is horrible! Get somewhere safe now and don't go where the eyes are. Lock and barricade your doors, don't let them see any light." He cut his blue lights, killed his headlights down to parking lights. I followed suit and kept driving and got on the road leading home, but the woods still glowed
