Lambda Theta Phi Latino Community Analysis

When I was first introduced to Lambda Theta Phi Latino Fraternity Inc., certain aspects of the organization caught my attention. First and foremost, the organization promotes unity within the Latino community. Being united as Latinos is essential because together we acquire great accomplishments for the betterment of the community as well as ourselves. Moreover, being united provides the opportunity to demonstrate our capabilities as Latinos and break the barriers society has imposed upon us. For me, being able to interact with Latinos at UNCG, through this organization, and having the opportunity to meet individuals who demonstrate valuable character is of great importance. It keeps my Latino heritage alive and stronger. It reminds me that although we are from diverse backgrounds, representing different Latino countries, we are one as Latinos. Our diverse backgrounds help us be understanding of one another; helps as a reminder of our desire to provide for our families that worked hard to be successful; and most importantly, helps us acquire a valuable social impact throughout our communities. This is extremely important for today’s society. I desire to become a Lambda Man in order to engage in a more professional atmosphere. I am striving to become an attorney and having professionalism skills is of great importance. I believe Lambda Theta Phi has what it takes to gain the valuable skills to become professionals.
