I never had any brothers, but I remember that I always wanted an older or younger brother because as much as I love my older sister, it is not the same bond as one would have with a brother. I’ve had many friends who I refer to as brothers or “bro” but it’s become a word that’s easily thrown around at the simplest interactions. However, I see the relationship that the brothers of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc. have and I can instantly tell that the word brother has meaning to it. They have history, bonds, and experiences that have solidified a brotherhood. I want to share that too. And it’s not only relationships amongst college students, it’s with brothers who are alumni and from different parts of the country. The diversity among

As can be seen, I consider myself a great candidate for the Gamma Tau Delta Honor Society, and not only because of my academic achievements so far, but also because of my dedication to serve others in the community. The rule to becoming a thespian is that you must have had spent one year with Mrs. Pla-Guzman, the head of theatre department, you must have completed a total of two shows, either teching or acting, and you must be in her class. I had only been in Mrs.Pla's class for a total of two months, and I had just begun rehearsals for Oklahoma, when I received an email from Mrs.Pla-Guzman inviting me into the Thespian Honor Society. I was astonished, excited and very flattered. However, being admitted into the International Thespian Honor Society, freshman year, is not my accomplishment.…

I have been told that there is a difference between calling someone your sister once you have joined an organization but the ones who are really your sisters are the people who you have been through something with. A Sisterhood is an array of feelings, emotions, and connections. It can't be described in one certain way or by one word. Yes, it is challenging but no one ever said that it would be easy.
