Human trafficking is one of the worst experience someone can go through. In a rural community Lakshmi gets decived in a world of prosistution at the age of thirteen. Lakshmi and her family are poor but after the rain sweeps their crops away Lakshmi and her family are even more poorer.Lakshmi wants to work just like her friend Gita so her family won't be poor any more. Lakshmi's mother,Ama wants her to stay in school but after the rain washes away their supply for moneyer stepfather gets her a job. Her stepfather introduces her to a stranger (aunt bimla) he exchanges money with her and send the two ladies on their journey. On the journey Kakshmi meets another stranger (uncle husband).
