After fifth grade, my parents decided it was time for a change of environment. They could’ve chosen anywhere: private schools, public schools, and possibly even homeschool. Soon, I was heading to Our Lady of Grace in Noblesville, Indiana. They chose this school to give me many extracurricular opportunities, challenge me academically, and strengthen my faith. Moving schools is not always the best for kids in school because they lose some of their best friends and rarely see them anymore. Ever since I walked into the school in sixth grade, I have been welcomed by everyone I have come across. I am naturally shy around new people, and it took me about two or three weeks in order to really fit in with everyone. Once I got to know and go to events with my friends after school, I felt more open to them, and it was easier to talk to them. I have become a stronger person in my professional career, faith, and community. The hard work of all the teachers and staff has shaped who we all are today. Moving forward, I will remember the motto of OLG: Respect, Responsibility, and Resembling Jesus. I hope that I will be able to continue the good habits I have developed at OLG in my life moving forward. If this happens, I know that my life will continue to get better everyday.
