Shakespeare wrote many things one being “The Tragedy of Macbeth.” He wrote many things and they continue to carry on throughout the years. This play was written as a play and is acted out and wrote in a book. It’s about a man named Macbeth who wants to become king and will do whatever it takes to become king with the influences of his life. He lets things get to his head and ruins many things and isn’t liked by others. While watching the play I realized there were many similarities and differences compared to the reading. Therefore, between the two there were many similarities throughout the sort of long play. The main events that take place are stressed in both of them. With that being said one of the main events was Macbeth becoming king, but how he gets it is an unfair way. Another thing that I thought was the same was kind of the way the witches acted, but not the way they talked. In the play I thought that all of the characters looked the same. While reading the play I pictured Lady Macbeth differently in the reading. In my opinion I thought her part sort of stressed how much she wanted to be the queen and in the play it didn’t really seem like that. Also, I thought she could’ve acted a little better. The characters that I pictured in my head were all different compared to the actual characters in the play. The way they dressed was another thing that I thought would be different. Considering they were kings and queens they kind of dressed poor. For example the way that Macbeth dressed with the blue and it was hanging of his shoulder. One of the scenes that seemed a little different to me was the way they killed Macduff’s son. Although the scenes are similar, I thought that where they took place were different in the reading. Those were most of the things that I thought were different to the play that we

Great Post! I agree with your answer that there are multiple conflicts. I also agree with Lady Macbeth has her own conflicts and she had a big decision in the way of her husband having his own conflicts. Another group of individuals that participated in Macbeth’s death was that of the three witches and their predication that he would become King so between the four women he really did not have a choice in the decision making because greed took over and caused his expiration. I feel that both of the Macbeths had issues with society because if Lady Macbeth did not help with the murder plot she would not have dealt with the bloodshed on her hands and not have cracked up and committed suicide.…

On the whole, although both the play and the movie share similar plots, there are notable changes in the plot, which leads to change the audience’s perspective about both the play and movie. If you were asked what the difference between college writing and career writing was, a few ideas might come to mind. For starters, your occupation, excluding those which revolve around analyzing literature, will more than likely never require you to compose an essay on the difference between Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. Or, whenever your employer requires you respond to a letter sent by a customer, you're very unlikely to receive a grade for the assignment. And yet, while other differences may arise, you may discover that much of what you've been taught on writing in school will still play a large part in your career. For starters, whether you're convincing your professor that Beauty and the Beast is a tale of Stockholm syndrome, rather than…

It’s necessary to include a set of interesting characters in your play, that way it can be successful. Without captivating characters to whom the readers can identify, it would limit the reach of the play. In other words, captivating characters are a must for a successful play. The Crucible and Macbeth have many similarities in terms of characters and themes. Firstly, in Macbeth they had Lady Macbeth who was very manipulative she was very similar to Abigail Williams who was very manipulative as well.…

Lady Macbeth and Lady Macduff are almost polar opposites. They were written to contrast one another, because Lady Macbeth is cold and unkind, which Lady Macduff is innocent and good. This relates to the overall theme of the play because it’s been good vs. evil with Macbeth vs. Duncan, and Macbeth vs. murderous thoughts, and now Lady Macbeth vs. Lady Macduff. “Maybe the journey isn’t so much about becoming anything. Maybe it’s about unbecoming everything that isn’t really you, so you can be who you were meant to be in the first place.” While who said this remains unknown, many works of literature show the trueness . A human should not be forced to become something or someone they are not, nor should they desire being something or someone they are not. In Shakespeare’s play Macbeth, Banquo’s death depicts the extent to which Macbeth is willing to go to, simply to obtain power and make the prophecies of the witch come true. Banquo’s death is a key part of the plot as it reveals the Macbeth’s true qualities in both the play and the movie adaptation. The movie, however, has a better adaption as it takes place during the world war and makes the scene much longer compared to the play’s shorter death scene. For example, the movie starts with close up of the murderers, and fades out, with a stern and swift voice; to showcase the significance of the murder. There is a mid-close up towards one of the murderers, with blindfolds on top, to indicate the darkness and the stealth which the murderers have…

In Shakespeare's Macbeth, the character Lady Macbeth does not conform to the gender expectations of her time. Her nonconformity is shown through the actions she takes—rebelling against the common notion of feminity by inciting violence—to ensure her husband's, Macbeth's, place as king. The character Lady Macduff serves as a foil to Lady Macbeth and displays how women are expected to behave. Because it seems that Lady Macduff is put forth as an example of the ideal woman, it is expected that she would meet a fate different than Lady Macbeth's, however, both women die by the end of the play. Even though both women die, Lady Macduff's life is sacrificed for the greater good, (halting Macbeth's ruination of the kingdom) and therefore, more honorable than Lady Macbeth's.…
