Shakespeare wrote the play Macbeth, a play that surrounds the themes of betrayal, corruption and power. One character that was obsessed with power was Lady Macbeth. She manipulated Macbeth to the extent of pressuring him into killing King Duncan for power. Similarly, Hilary Clinton thrives to gain power and attention to win the presidential election. It was a Friday afternoon when my friend and I were walking home as we came across this topic. This topic, a crucial topic that would shape the United States of America’s future was argued on the way home. The citizens have not answered this question but one’s answer on this issue was changed. I realized that most of her claims dealt with how Hilary is a woman and her capabilities as a woman. Honestly, I was sick of hearing the phrase “woman.” A president should not be chosen for their gender. It would be amazing to have a woman as a president, but the ability to handle the responsibly of a president determines the next president of the United States of America. This claim appeared to beat her argument, since she stayed silent for a moment. However, her face showed that she was in the process of thinking. Her emotionless face and eyes on the ground showed how deep in though she was, I could not possibly know what she was thinking of. After a minute, she glimpsed at me and spoke. Hilary has shown how she great of a leader through her actions. For instance, she helped provide millions with health care through the creation of the Children’s Health Insurance Program. A smile made its way across my face; the enjoyment of arguing made my mind work quickly as if I was in an issue of life or death. I was cautious, it was time to end this argument but with a strong argument to leave me victorious. Hilary was originally against homosexuality, and then changed her position in 2013. This person is someone who will go through struggles of pulling the ropes of their arguments to express the truth. In reality, Hilary is not the best choice when choosing a candidate to be president. She may be running into the race with a lot support at the beginning, but her weakness in position will leave her with fewer supporters at the end of the line. Diana once a supporter of Hilary Clinton becoming president is now more aware of what really determines the upcoming president. The fact that Hilary Clinton was once against same-sex marriage, and quickly changed her stance to gain support and power made her feel uncomfortable.
