In 2010, American singer-songwriter Lady Gaga gave a speech in Portland, Maine about the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.” The speech, titled “The Prime Rib of America,” went viral online and changed many lives. Following the speech, the act was repealed after seventeen years since it was put in place.
