Lady Capulet's Montague Analysis

Not to mention, Lady capulet's abhor towards the montagues throughout the whole entire play. If lady montague and lord capulet were in a relationship and lady montague left to be with montague, it would make sense that Lady capulet would hate the montagues. If lady montague stayed in the relationship with Capulet, lady capulet would never be in an arranged marriage with lord capulet. The montagues adore Romeo and wouldn’t want anything bad happening to him, but notice how Lady capulet tries to persuade the Prince to kill one of the montagues “ Prince, as thou art true,For blood of ours shed blood of Montague.”(3.1. 112) she evens go out of her way to calls Benvolio a liar when he tells everybody the events that just took place by saying

While many different groups, people and situations are to blame in Romeo and Juliet, three stand out as more important than the others. The families, Tybalt and the time period are the most prominent examples of blame in the play. Each example contributes to the play in a major way. Without them, the play would’ve unfolded in a completely different manner.…

However, when Paris asks for Lord Capulet’s consent to marry Juliet, Capulet says to wait until Juliet is older and she must somewhat like Paris first. This demonstrates that Lord Capulet cares about Juliet’s well-being. He wants Juliet to marry earlier now that Tybalt is dead to take her mind off of the death of her cousin, thinking that a big wedding would make her and all of the other Capulets happier. I understand that there is a big misunderstanding and that Lord Capulet thinks that Juliet is being extremely ungrateful about his decision, but I don’t think it’s okay to talk to your child that way and Lord Capulet should apologize. Also, although I don’t think that Lady Capulet would approve of Romeo, she should be able to accept their marriage because they are already married.…

The feud between the Capulets and Montagues is predominant throughout the play. This is significant because the without the feud there would be no reason to frown upon the marriage of Romeo and Juliet. In the play one can strongly infer that the love of Romeo and Juliet is forbidden. This is is shown through the act of the secret marriage of Romeo and Juliet. Also, King Capulet is at fault for the death of his daughter and Romeo because he has…

There was a big feud between the two families that started a long time ago but after that they never liked each other again. The Capulet’s and Montague’s are both unable to keep clam about the situation; instead they bring it out onto the city. If there wasn’t a issue between the capulets and Montague’s, Romeo and Juliet wouldn’t have had to hide how much they care about each other and love each other and Friar Laurence wouldn’t have had to start up a whole other situation with Juliet. Both Capulet and Montague families had many differences but didn’t realize just how much it affected Romeo and Juliet until after their death. In the book Romeo and Juliet, Juliet says “If he be married/…

Although it is natural to hate someone or something Tybalt takes it way too far. During the Capulet feast, the mere sight of Romeo was enough for Tybalt to report this to Lord Capulet (Shakespeare 14). It was so bad that Tybalt went looking for Romeo, and then the fight with Mercutio happens, both people die. The point is, Tybalt’s hate for the Montagues, is also to blame for the tragedy. Think about it, in the book, find one line from Tybalt that does not have anything to do with his grudge against the Montagues, unless you count the chat between Mercutio and Tybalt, you can’t find anything under that category.…

I don’t think they realised exactly what they were doing, or what it could result in, but I still can’t help but think how childish it was of them to restrict anyone to associate with the Montagues. Forcing Juliet to marry, when she clearly was repulsed by the thought was absolutely foolish. They should have realised that hate would only lead to harm however it wasn’t until one of their own, the young Juliet, was driven to a painful death did they realise what they were doing was wrong. Even then. After everything, they couldn’t even bare to look at the Montagues, to try and fix everything, was losing their own daughter not enough to open their eyes to the hideous truth?…

If you loved your lover so much, would you kill yourself for them? Romeo and Juliet are from two different families that hate each other. Juliet sees Romeo at a ball that he was not supposed to be at and it was like love at first sight. It does not stay like that for long. Lord and lady montague are at fault for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet because they did not play a part in romeo's life and in a way pushing him to find love, the Montagues did not give him enough help in the beginning when he was always depressed, and they started the feud between each other which caused Romeo to fight Tybalt.…

It’s not an essential part of who Romeo is; for being a Montague doesn’t define who Romeo is. It is just the name of the archenemy of her family, and she just yearns for it to be something else so that they can be together. Whether one watched the Elizabethan play by William Shakespeare, the 1968 film adaptation by Franco Zeffirelli or the 1996 film adaptation by Baz Luhrmann, there is absolutely no doubt that the tragic story of Romeo and Juliet has been the source of heartache for billions throughout the centuries.…

If Lord Capulet did not place this momentous burden on Juliet, then she may have not tried to fake her death that ultimately ended in her as well as Romeo’s demise. Even though Lord Capulet could be responsible for the death of the lovers, Friar Laurence is predominantly the one to blame due to his lack of judgment throughout the play. Despite Friar Laurence’s good intentions when agreeing to marry Romeo and Juliet, thinking that it would end the feud, he neglected to foresee the potential negative outcomes. Upon his agreement to marry Romeo and Juliet, he hastily advises, “Come, come with me, and we will make short work; For, by your leaves, you shall not stay alone Till holy church incorporate two in one”(II.vi.35-37). Friar Laurence already knew that tensions were high between the Montagues and Capulets, and by doing this he endangered the well-being of both Romeo and Juliet if anyone ever found out.…

Even though Romeo was banished and Lord capulet was forcing Juliet to marry someone else, they refused to stand up for their relationship. Therefore, the young couple was forced into a harsh decision; to that take their lives. People think that fate had to make two arch enemies fall in love, but Lord Capulet and Lord Montague could have ended the feud and supported their kids. When you think about all the decisions that are made by kids today, you notice that parents have become a lot more open minded about this sort of topic. If the two families would have followed in this thinking their kids would still…

Romeo and Juliet; everyone has heard about Shakespeare’s famous tragedy. When looking at the story of the star- crossed lovers, the question arises; who is to blame for their death? It’s not easy to answer because there are many fActors that would eventually allude to their demise. One could argue that fate or family are to blame. But I believe that the Capulet family is most to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet because they didn’t listen to Juliet, separated the lovers indefinitely, and caused the failure of the friar’s plan.…

There is tension between the Capulet and Montague families throughout the play that evolves much more violently. Tybalt is a constant aggressor from the Capulet side of the feud, who will never turn down a chance to initiate or partake in a Capulet versus Montague altercation.
