Romeo & Juliet’s Death Love is wonderful, but is it worth everything? Should anybody sacrifice their all for love? Romeo and Juliet a William Shakespeare’s tragedy about two lovers rebelling towards one another family members to be together. Romeo and Juliet first see each other at a party and fell in love. But after finding out that their families have been lifelong enemies, it was a struggle to be together. Juliet was force by the Capulet family to marry a nobleman named Paris, but she cannot because of her love of Romeo. After, all the feuds and the drama between the two households the both of them could not take it any longer, so they died to at least be with each other. When Capulet sprung the news of Juliet of her and Paris getting married she was just astounded. Lady Capulet and Capulet did not even try to hear Juliet out. “But fettle your fine joints ‘gainst’ Thursday next To go with Paris to Saint Peter’s Church” (3.5.153-154). Capulet tells Juliet to be prepare because on Thursday morning you are going to get married. This is after Juliet tells the both of the Capulets that she does not want to marry Paris. When Capulet scolds Juliet for even thinking about not marrying Paris, she feels like her mother and the Nurse can help her out. But after also getting yelled at by Capulet they both believe that Juliet should just marry Paris anyways. “Talk not to me, for I’ll not speak a word. Do as thou wilt, for I have done with thee” (3.5.203-204). Lady Capulet refuses to help Juliet because she has done so much for Juliet and she asks for one thing of her and Juliet can not even do that. That was Juliet last resort since she could not convince her father herself, she would have least got some help from her mother. While, Lady Capulet denied that request. When Juliet asks for the Nurse advice. Yet, earlier in the play the Nurse agreed for Romeo and Juliet are together. After Capulet’s rage, the Nurse changes her decision and tells Juliet to marry Paris. “I think it best you married the County. O he’s a lovely gentleman. Romeo’s a dishclouth to him” (3.5.218-220). The monologe goes with the Nurse comparing Romeo to Paris saying that he is nothing compared to him. Identifying that in not just looks, but it makes everybody happy. Capulet was okay and she will have a husband not to hide, but that treats her like a queen. Soon after, hearing the Nurse explains to Juliet about her preferences that Juliet betrayed by the Nurse while just on her side. But now she is not and leading Juliet to go
