One day I played a game. That game was lacrosse. When I first played I was 7; However I had never heard of lacrosse and chose to try It. After the first few weeks of practice we had our first game. I was excited for the chance to play a game.
We got to the field early In the morning. The reddish orange sun was still rising over the horizon. The sun was a lantern that morning. The field was a green carpet with splotches of dark brown mud. As we walk across the field, I take a deep breath and smell the mud and fresh air of the sunny morning I can feel the breeze flow through my hands. When I was walking across the field, I could see my friends getting their pads on so I hustled over to the sideline. Then I opened my bag and got a whiff of my lacrosse

All the kids started hitting me on the helmet. Each time making a distinct sound of metal banging on plastic. Each hit makes my head spin faster. I couldn’t control where I was going anymore and I stumbled to the ground, I bit down hard Into my mouth guard and got the taste of squishy rubber. I can hear the dirty field beneath me whispering to me to get up and get off the field; however, I couldn’t. Everything In my body was screaming in pain. My coach came onto the field, and asked If I could get up. I was thinking, no way everything In my body hurts and I can barely sit up. So we sat there for multiple minutes, which felt like half an hour and I got up. I limped over to the bench where my teammates asked me If I was okay. The coaches told me to stay out for the rest of the game. In the end It was a mediocre game we had lost by two and It was a well played game.
At the end my parents were debating If I should keep playing lacrosse. Well they let me play and I am still playing till this
