1 Facial Expression
¥ Her phone was ringing. She groped her phone out of the pocket with her right hand and looked at her phone for 3 seconds. Her face frowned and her eyes were half-closed when she checked her phone.
¥ During talking on the phone, she sometimes looked up rolling her eyes left and right and hardly answered.
¥ She put her poutine box on the table of casher, and said “It is a poutine combo” Casher said, “Where is your drink?” She had a puzzling face and made her eyes bigger trying to figure out what casher meant. The casher repeated “where is your drink” couple times more. Her face started getting red. Then she said, “I will grab it after purchasing” Casher pointed at the drink section with her finger, …show more content…
The laboratory observation is a describe research method in which behavior is studied by psychology within a controlled environment and is used with more precise equipment to measure responds. Also, it gains many and swift results by sophisticated equipment. On the other hand, Laboratory behavior is not reflected in real-world behavior, and the maintaining and equipping can be expensive. During observation, discussion with my group member, I and my group member anticipate circumstances what she had based on her face expressions and gestures. The Most obvious prediction was the reason of her turning red face and sighing deeply might be she felt embarrassed by the casher’s determined and repeated expression and felt displeasure by the casher’s gestures. The following possible prediction was about the situation with her phone. We assumed that the phone number might be not contained on her phone so that she was trying to remember whose number was. That was why she looked at her phone for 3 seconds with frowned face and half-closed eyes. Also, it might be possible the phone call may be from unexpected person like ex-boyfriend who already broke up long time ago. Lately, the other prediction is about the scene of rolling her eyes left and right and hardly answered. Simply, we predicted the phone call might be from unknown one such as advertising company or wrong
