Labor Unions: Personal Security Issues Of Employees

I agree with the statement “People often join the union because of the dissatisfaction with management, the need of a social outlet, the needs for avenues of leadership, forced unionization and social pressure from peers”. The role of labor unions is to ensure that employees in many different organizations are fairly compensated for the work that they provide their employers. Some employees do not feel comfortable discussing a problem or negotiation a better wage with their managers. Labor unions exist to represent safety concerns and personal security issues of employees to employers.
