How many genetically modified foods does the average person put into their body every day? Unfortunately, many people don’t even know what GMOs are so they also don’t know that it is entering their body and can cause damage. This process started in the mid-1900s but didn’t get approved until the 1980s so it has had its course so far. At times it is very difficult to tell a GMO from a regular, healthier version of an organism but it’s like this because no one has brought it up and made an important stand or comment about it. All genetically modified foods should be labeled because it’s an important health factor and it brings awareness to the foods that everyone puts inside of their body.

The ones that design the labels would have to figure out where to place it, how big of a font to put it in, and if they want that to catch the attention of the customer or just have it as extra information on the label that no one can read. This topic is really up for anyone to grab because it affects everyone since it’s in all foods that we consume.
The opponents of GMOs being labeled are the farmers that make products through mass production and the companies that buy the food from them. These people would have a problem with it because if the customers don’t want to buy their products because of the GMOs the company will have to change and adapt to please the customer. An ally of this topic might surprisingly be a scientist because they know that the DNA being used is not always clean and safe but if they bring public opinions into it people might be able to see the real damage it is
