Although, there were a couple of each that really stood out to me. In the acting department the performance was extremely exciting and moving. The performers often incorporated the audience and on several occasions broke the fourth wall. They even incorporated the names of lost loved ones that the audience wrote down before the play. The performance also had a moving aspect as it urged its viewers to let go of the people they have lost and to live their lives while they still can. The acting of the performers was also very believable in many facets. The falls the performers made, mainly Alejandro, looked both real and painful. Another believable aspect was the emotion displayed by each character. None of the crying or laughter seemed forced or fake, it all sounded and looked sincere and genuine. On the performance side of things the set design and costumes were both perfect. The stage design did a wonderful job of giving the audience a clear picture of what was going on in each act, and even the mood of the act. The props were well constructed, making them look real. The costumes were absolutely stunning. Each character was dressed in a way that portrayed what kind of personality they had and also boasted meticulously done face painting that made them look like people of the dead. All in all I couldn’t have been happier with the costumes of each and every character.
