La Fitness Is My Favorite Place

Improved Essays
Everyone has a favorite place, a place they love to go to and feel at peace when there. This place for me is the gym, LA Fitness. The gym is a place that I can always count on to go to and not be disappointed. At the gym I feel safe, motivated, and excited for what comes next.

The primary reason as to why LA Fitness is my favorite place is because of all that it offers for me. From several benches, to enormous rows of dumbbells, to state of the art machines, all this place does is promote positivity. When I go to the gym I enjoy doing bench press. This exercise is my favorite because it helps me build a solid chest and look like the man I am. With a variety of weight lifting machines and equipment, the gym is never a boring place. There is always more to life and more to gain at LA Fitness. Going to LA Fitness changed my life because by lifting weights I became more confident, outgoing, and most importantly, bigger.

Another reason LA Fitness is my favorite place is because it is a common place where all my friends can meet. Nearly everyone I know who attends Burlington Central and has a mission to get big, has a membership to LA Fitness. Along with meeting old friends, I always get to make new ones as

Aside from providing you with workout equipment, this gym offers leisure activities. Being in the hottub at LA Fitness is like heaven on earth. As the warm jets hit your back and the warmth of the water engulfs your body like the greatest blanket on Earth, I feel like the king of the world. In addition, my favorite sports as a child have been basketball and swimming. This gym gives me both of them in one convenient location. I can go play a game of pickup basketball with my friends or go swim a few laps for fun. To sum it up, all these extra activities offered at LA Fitness are extremely relaxing, and amusing for

Summary I interviewed John Cummings whom is the Associate Director of Washburn’s Student Recreation & Wellness Center. Cummings received his Undergrad in History at Northern Arizona University and his Master’s in Public Administration from Drake University. The Recreation center is unique because it provides a different social atmosphere to over 500 students daily all who have made the conscious decision to come to exercise. The rec is not for athletic team practices and physical education classes its open to all students…

I have also had the opportunity to meet many different people from around the country and even the world from going to different seminars and training camps, none of which I would have been at unless I was involved at the gym.…
