In class, we watched two very different versions of La Belle et La Bête. One version had animation and was the Disney interpretation of The Beauty and the Beast. The Walt Disney rendition, there were talking clocks and living chiffonier. The whole world within the beast's fortress was full of life and wonder. In the animation, Belle loved books and went to rescue her father after her father's horse came back in look for help. In the animation of Walt Disney, There was more drollery. Then at the end of the movie, the lively objects turned into people. In the non animated real people version, Belle had two sisters and a brother.
