With only a month and a half to study, I tried my best to at least raise my score by eight to ten points. With the workload of being a first year Resident Assistant and managing a building of over fifty Junior and Senior students, I also founded my own student organization, took six intense classes as well as became Assistant Chair of my University’s student ran budget committee. I was again unable to dedicate a great amount of time to LSAT preparation due to my involvement on campus and other factors. While studying for the LSAT and tending to my roles as a student leader, I also experienced the loss of my aunt who battled cancer for the last eight years. I can recall exactly a week before she died and receiving a call from her that she would not make it. She was barely able to speak and hold the phone while we face timed. I immediately rushed home to comfort my family and see my aunt during her last few moments. A week later, my aunt passed away and I was unable to go home and be with my family until the following week.
