LGBT youth suicide rates are very real and complex, yet preventable. SPEAK LIFE introduces two programs that seek to provoke change within young and older stakeholders. First, the suicide information sheet seeks to provide foundational information to those aged eighteen and up. Once information is provide, profession expect that open discussion will occur due to the target population (LGBT Youth). The second program uses Instagram to target students in seventh through twelfth grades. This method allows a more accessible route to critical information.
