The First reading is a declaration from the congress of the people about the Colombian civil war. In the declaration it is advocated that there be profound socio-political change and that both the government and the insurgents (FARC-EP) continue to have dialog while also reprimanding the government for some of its actions to cement its power.
The second reading is a letter to President Juan Manuel Santos and various international organizations outlining various murders disappearance and threats that have been carried out by the government against human rights organization and movements and calls on the government to admit their mistakes and try to correct them alongside some reform that the political movements are asking
