I am writing this cover letter to you in regards to Metrolinx Capital Projects Group (Planning) in Toronto. I am interested in this position because ever since I been exposed to societies’ environmental and transportation issues, and Jane Jacob’s principles of urban planning, I developed a strong passion for transportation infrastructures, public transit operations, and effective urban planning, with a vision to design better communities. I would like to work for Metrolinx because they are one of Canada’s largest transit organizations with an objective to plan public transit to promote sustainable modes of transportation in the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA), which is also a vision of mine.
