Kyron Case Report

EREPORT # 18745 stated the following: Kyron was seen in the Pediatric Emergency Department today for upper respiratory symptoms as well as diarrhea. Chest x-ray was done and fractures to three ribs were noted. No known trauma. Fractures were not noted on chest x-ray completed December 21. There is concern at this time for unexplained rib fractures in two month old child. Kyron was admitted to the hospital. Mother unaware of any trauma to child. She is currently a resident at Born Free. Kyron goes to day care that Born Free uses (Karitas). Mother reports caregivers are limited to her at home (Born Free) and day care. Mother has been clean for nine months. She was in jail for five months (drug related charges) before admitting to Born Free in
