In the makeup industry filled with already great companies such as MAC and NYX cosmetics to actually succeed is very difficult, but for Kylie Jenner, her social media fandemonium was just allowed her two-year-old company to become a Grand competitor. Living her life on one of the biggest reality shows of the world with her family being one of America's most controversial, “ The Kardashian- Jenner clan.” being the youngest in her family she had to make herself stand out from her older sisters shadows. Finding her own individuality, creating kylie cosmetics. On November 30th,2015, she used her signature lip-pout and rumors from the tabloids to capitalize by created kylie lip-kits by Kylie Jenner, using social media platforms and fans as her marketing plan to launch her first 15,000 units of her lip-kits, not knowing what to expect, she was sold out in 30 seconds. Kylie Jenner received great reports from all the industry upper echelon and fans across the world leaving them wanting more. Following the release of her lip-kits, she announced the creation of her entire empire Kylie cosmetics.

The Company lacks a major part of what the makeup industry consumer looks forwards to in a Brand. Makeup tutorials are a major factor in the industry, giving the consumer access on how to correctly apply your look and achieve their goal image. Moreover, Kylie’s personal life has affected sales when it came to her dating and her family issues, being that her family causes controversy with allegations set upon them by the Tabloids and their way of living changes people's outlook on how they perceive the family cause backlash to reach all of their businesses.
