Different set of people living together in harmony with mutual understanding and respect for each other regardless of their cultural or religious background and their ethnicity is the main idea of cosmopolitanism. According to the U.S. Census Bureau's annual projections, “The overall population of the world is 7.2 billion” (as of December 31st 2014), so it is of no surprise that there are several views regarding the concept of cosmopolitanism. However, Kwame Anthony Appiah, a London born philosopher known for his contribution to racial, ethics and religious relation, in the text describes the term Cosmopolitanism as, the process by which all the human being in this planet are the same regardless of their culture and geographical distance between them, in fact he mentioned that all the human beings have obligation to each other, which is related by the ties of ‘kith and kind’ and also we seriously take the value of not only human life but of particular human lives (69). Over time people have discovered ways to stay connected with each other with the help of technology, which Appiah suggests is acting as one of the major factor in changing people’s behavior, if used in a good way can be profitable to us, however if misused then can affect the whole humanity
