Kuwan Substance Abuse Case Studies

Kuwan has continued to participate in the program positively. During this review period, Kuwan did not receive any room restrictions. However, Kuwan did receive one sanction for not following instructions; as a result of turning around in his seat while in class to talk to a peer. Overall, Kuwan has exhibited positive interactions with staff and his peers, and the continued demonstration of improvement in managing his behavior. Kuwan was promoted to Level III of the program on May 25, 2016 and participated in 7 home passes without issue. Kuwan and his peers participated in several outing since the last review period which included volunteering at Miracle League, Feedmore and Lucy Corr Nursing Home and a fun event at King Pin Bowling.
