Based on Kushner’s ideas of immediate reform, as stated above, it seems to sound a lot similar to the reengineering strategy. He wants to modernize how things are done and improve technology. He intends to take a “broken” system and remodel of worker-training programs are done. I think his ultimate goal is to provide continuous improvement, through reengineering, just as a business would desire to do so. As he stated he wants to create the ultimate efficiency, by appealing the customers, who he refers citizens as. A major problem with this process is that could be very risky because something like this has never occurred on this large of a scale. Based upon his initial comments, one can expect him to use some form of reengineering strategy, which would change the process by which the government works in relationship to its citizens and through the modernization of technology. By hiring Kushner, it helped provide an incentive for the best employees to work for the government, and by Kushner bringing in people he trusts, who have an ample amount of experience. Perhaps Kushner will also address more aspects of the Civil service system and draw attention to some of its negative aspects.Through this Trump and his son-in-law, Kushner, are trying to install fresh ideas and change the way the government is run.
